Maestra Ginia

That is what everyone affectionately called my grandmother, Virginia.

As the village schoolteacher, she guided generations of children through the difficult post-war years, teaching them not only school subjects, but also leaving them with meaningful life lessons.

Even today in Cervo, there are those who remember her with warmth and gratitude.

Antica Casa Virginia bears her name.
